Tithe: A Modern Faery Tale (The Modern Faerie Tales #1) Author: Holly Black Review By: Courtney Published By: Margaret K. McElderry Books Date: April 2004 Genre: YA Fantasy/Fey-Magic Pages: 331 pages Sixteen-year-old Kaye is a modern nomad. Fierce and independent, she travels from city to city with her mother's rock band until an ominous attack forces Kaye back to her childhood home. There, amid the industrial, blue-collar New Jersey backdrop, Kaye soon finds herself an unwilling pawn in an ancient power struggle between two rival faerie kingdoms - a struggle that could very well mean her death. I once again borrowed this book...I bet you all think does she ever read her own books...at least that's what my husband says. I have a lot of books on my shelves but when I borrow a book I hate to have it for to long since its not mine :) Anyways on with my review...I loved this book, now not like I love Divergent but I really did enjoy reading ...
